For the last several months, I’ve been able to make a dedicated effort to creating new graphics works with the hope of expanding my portfolio and audience. This site, Facebook, and various online shops have all achieved part of that goal. Now, you have a chance to help. If you live in the Scranton, Pa., […]
Chalk this one up to bedtime stories and video games.
You end up with some odd ideas when you have one boy and one girl living in your house. Case in point: this Hello Kitty / “Wreck-It Ralph” mashup I’m calling “Hello Stinkbrain.”
While I haven’t decided on the font that will actually read “Hello Stinkbrain” underneath, I’m pretty happy with the progress I made in a short amount of time.
For the last few weeks, I had myself convinced I was stuck in a rut. Submission after submission was getting (and continues to get) rejected by so many of the daily T-shirt sites that I actually wondered if I had somehow been blacklisted in that community. Then, a valued friend made an excellent point. “You […]
In my past day job as a journalist, I was active at several different newspapers including The Abington Journal in Clarks Summit, Pa. One of the biggest events put on by the local business group, the Abington Business and Professional Association, is the Clarks Summit Festival of Ice.
I’ve got a list FULL of mashup ideas, but they’ll be taking a backseat for a few days. In my recent past as a journalist, I pledged to complete the map for the 2014 Clarks Summit Festival of Ice.
What if Link and Zelda were a badass part of the Marvel universe instead of the Nintendo one? I think their gear would look a little like this.
So, this got done last night and immediately submitted to one of the daily T-shirt sites. Won’t say which one for fear they’ll reject it and I’ll live a life of eternal sorrow, but let’s be honest: who can deny the magnificence that is Mega Man mixed with “Back to the Future”? I hope I […]
I’ve got a lot of love in my heart for Mega Man (Rockman to you purists) and a dream of hoverboards in 2015 that can’t be sustained. Long story short, this mashup was kind of inevitable.
This is as finished as Tragic Hero Brewing Company is for now. My friend, who requested the branding for her husband’s homebrewing projects, is expecting her first baby, so I’m not pushing her for any kind of reply. I am, however, anxious to see what the two of them think about my work on the […]
Some classmates will pester your kid to bring in snacks on their birthday. My daughter’s classmates? Well, they wanted napkins.
Taryn had the unenviable task of getting down all of the requests from her classmates, and some were easier to fulfill than others.
The missus and I crosses a big to-do off the bucket list on Nov. 23 when we got to see Weezer live in concert. Aside from being fans for a long time, they’re the only band I know who has written a song that rhymes with her maiden name, Bagdonas. The set list was a virtual greatest hits, but I won’t bore you with that here. My full review is up on the Discover Lehigh Valley blog.
